District 3780 Launches Official Website for RY 2009-2010

The Rotary District 3780 Quezon City is now online. DG Dulce Coyukiat is proud to have web presence for the district, to promote the district's and its clubs' activities, news and other relevant information which are accessible to everyone with online presence.
The site's webmaster is Past President Winston Sia from the Rotary Club of Talipapa, and is currently actively involved in the chartering of a new club (Rotary Club of VisMin, QC).
"I hope that through the district website, Rotarians worldwide will be able to easily and conveniently connect to the District 3780 Rotary Clubs and the district leaders." PP Winston shared. He further noted "It is important for Rotarians of the district to reach out to the fastest-growing group of Internet users, now totaling to 3.8 Billion, with up-to-date information about our work as Rotarians, to serve our adopted communities."
PP Winston joins DG Dulce in encouraging all Rotary Clubs of the district to contribute contents by sending their club projects' photos and articles for possible inclusion into the website.
"This is part of my commitment to DG Dulce and the district, for the trust and confidence she has bestowed upon me, as Co-Chairman of the District Club Administration Committee, together with Chair PP Louie Pangulayan," Winston added.
He shares DG Dulce's desire to foster the informed use of the Internet for civic participation and philanthropy. The Website features district related info, content and resources (GML archives, photo gallery, Rotary news, district history, downloads, Rotary links, profiles, and many more) , and makes them available for Rotarians and non-Rotarians alike all over the world, 24 times a day, 7 days a week.
PP Winston is currently an IBM Project Manager, who has previously been involved in the pioneering efforts for the Internet and eCommerce in the Philippines. He has previous involvement in companies like PHNET, eRegalo.com & Chikka.com, MRM Studios, Globe Telecom, and currently IBM.
The district website (www.district3780.org) would not have been possible if not for the generous support of IPDG Alex Cureg and IPDS Lyndon Wong, who selflessly lent to DG Dulce the use of their web hosting service and domain name, for free.
