Books from Canada
The Rotary Club of Midtown Cubao, District 3780 headed by "Hands-on" President Fidel "Bobot" Marcelo signs a memorandum of agreement with officials of the E. Rodriguez Elementary School, C.P. Garcia High School, and T.I.P. (Cubao) for donation of books in line with its literacy project. The donation of books by the Winnipeg Breakfast Council, Canada was coordinated by PE Tony Avellanosa.
The MOA was attested to by DG Dulce Coyukiat during the club's induction ceremonies held on August 11, 2009 at the Sangkalan Grille Restaurant, Scout Albano, Q.C.. The club officers were presented by the club's executive secretary, Ferdie Avancena and the event was attended by Hon. Vice Mayor and RC Kamuning President Herbert Bautista and other "Hands-on" presidents, district officers, past district governors, and guests.
